A Taste of Cornwall

To think of Cornwall …..  think; clotted cream, fishing boats, pasties, clotted cream, tin mines, fudge, clotted cream, smugglers, ice cream, clotted cream …. Everything taste better with clotted cream when in Cornwall! A county for good dairy and fishing and the traditional cooking styles reflect the predominant communities of farmers and fishermen.  However, the county of Cornwall has its fair share of excellent ingredients, top restaurants and tucked away award winning food producers.  Here are just a handful of our favourites:

Roskilly’s – Ice cream and fudge from the family run farm of creamy Jersey cows. Situated within the Lizard Peninsula at St Keverne. A real gem, one visit will not be enough!

Constantine Stores Ltd – Speciality grocery store with an immense range of whiskies and other alcoholic beverages. Cornwall may be a long way from Scotland, but there is no shortage of whiskies here. For example ‘Gordon Macphails Speyside Collection’ Just £10,450!
