Welcome to Crocadon Farmhouse
Perfect for Group Holidays in Cornwall
The ideal location for a large family get together for a special occasion or reunion, a group gathering of good friends, or just to luxuriate with your own large and extended family for a tranquil holiday escape to Cornwall. Crocadon is located on the outskirts of St. Mellion village in the stunning Tamar Valley, with traditional friendly village pubs, scenic countryside walks and the Internationally renowned Golf course and club.
Cornwall has been and still is the set for many a film, drama, book or painting. From the rugged North Coast to the gentle South Coast, crashing waves to turquoise pools and dotted in between pretty villages, moorland, beautiful gardens, delicious restaurants, open air theatre and more.
Crocadon offers generous living rooms and spacious bedrooms. Large gardens and orchards surround the property which nestles in the surrounding organic farm and overlooks the woodland of Pentillie Estate. A real haven for wildlife. The outdoor lawns & courtyards, equally generous, offers space for BBQs, ball games plus an enclosed area for quiet contemplation with direct access from the house.
The house sleeps 14 guests in 6 comfortable first floor bedrooms and a further ground floor optional bedroom or snug all with a selection of bath and shower rooms. There are 2 large reception rooms plus games room, dining hall and large well equipped kitchen with Aga cooker. Due to spacious rooms everyone can sit together in our kitchen, dining room and drawing room. Crocadon Farmhouse is wonderfully spacious, so even if you have the maximum of 14 guests staying at the house you will be able to dine together (if you wish) around the traditional wooden kitchen table, or divide parties into the impressive dining hall. The inviting sitting room and adjoining games room are alternative relaxing areas, plus eight bedrooms. We are situated on the Cornwall / Devon border, just off the A38 near St. Mellion, so only 20 minutes drive from the city of Plymouth and just 10mins from Saltash train station. We are blessed with large gardens, orchard and organic farm surrounding the property, overlooking the woodland of the Pentillie Estate. Fantastic to just relax and enjoy the wildlife and for your dog to explore.
